Hey there! I’m JP — a husband, proud girl dad, and creative mind behind "JP Does DIY.
Like many, my DIY journey kicked off in 2020 when the world hit pause. Stuck at home, I picked up some tools and started fixing and building things around the house — and I haven’t stopped since.
What began as weekend projects quickly became something bigger: a passion for creating, simplifying, and smartening up my home one project at a time. From custom furniture builds to smart home upgrades, I’ve found joy in mixing DIY, minimalism, and tech into everyday life.
Most days, I’m balancing a full-time job, family life, and carving out time to create — just like you might be. That’s why I started sharing my projects: to show it’s possible to build amazing things with limited time, space, or experience.
